LensAI Shoppable

The publisher, who could be the owner of a website, platform, or video hosting service with content, integrates LensAi’s script into their website or mobile application. This script examines the content and identifies similar or relevant products. As a user engages with this content, an advertising banner pops up, showcasing a product found within the content or one that is contextually relevant. The banner link incorporates the Affiliate/Tracking ID assigned by the marketplace indicated by the publisher. The publisher directly receives all commission for purchases made through the marketplace or partner platform, eliminating any middlemen.
The advertiser uploads their product catalog into our system and initiates their partnership with a platform like Impact.com. Publishers, who have registered their Affiliate ID in our system, will start featuring products associated with your affiliate partner. When a user clicks on the banner, their activity is tracked through Impact.com. All conversions and transactions are processed via the Impact.com interface.

Tracking, conversions and payouts are carried out by a partner company or marketplace. LensAI generates a link with your Affiliate/Tracking ID. When the user clicked on the banner and followed the link, this is reflected in the affiliate system. For example, for Walmart this is reflected in the Impact.com system, and for Amazon in the publishers Amazon Affiliate account.
Clicks and impression statistics are reflected in the LensAI Shoppable publisher account and can be exported to any analytics system, such as Google Analytics
Payments for purchases are made to the publisherfrom the affiliate program partner in the publisher account of the corresponding affiliate or marketplace.

Lens-AI supports Video, images, and live streaming across all platforms. Content that was previously published as well as active streams are supported. LensAI Shoppable will automatically analyze products, images and brands the moment users start viewing it.
By simply installing LensAI Shoppable, all the content on that site or platform will become and publisher will be able to specify what content they would like to be targeted for campaigns.
Shopping features become available to users if LensAI has recorded enough volume of viewed content. Traffic sufficiency is measured by LensAI based on the number of visitors viewing a publisher's content. When the threshold of these visitors exceeds the value set by LensAI, the content will be processed and impressions will begin

LensAI Contextual

The publisher installs the LensAI Contextual or LensAI Shoppable script on their website or mobile application. The script analyzes the content and, based on this analysis, allows advertisers to target their ads, thereby placing them in the publisher's inventory.

All inventory characteristics are classified according to recognized market standards.

Buying contextual inventory: Advertisers configure and launch their advertising campaigns in the LensAI Contextual dashboard. The LensAI API service receives a direct API request from the user (from the web browser, XHR) with the following data: URL and/or unique identifier of the video/image, user data: web browser, device, screen resolution, etc.

Scenario 2 (request from the server):

The image or video has come into the user's field of view.
At the moment the video/image is displayed to the user, the LensAI API service receives a request from the PLATFORM server with the following data: URL and/or unique identifier of the video/image, user data: geolocation (country/city), web browser, device, screen resolution, etc. Optionally - the number of views of this video/image over a specific time frame.

Response from the API

The subsequent steps are the same for each request scenario.

If the video/image has not been processed previously:
- There's a calculation of the number of API calls (or the number of views passed in the request) for the given URL/identifier over a specific period of time.
- Checking the parameters of the video/image (dimensions, quality, video duration, etc.)
- If all conditions meet the requirements, the video/image is sent for processing. The API response will indicate a status of "sent for processing" or "rejected".
If the video/image has been processed previously, then the API response provides the processing result (see examples of responses).
- Additionally, there is an analysis of the need for reprocessing the video/image, and if necessary, it is sent for processing. This is not reflected in the API response.

API usage limitations for all scenarios:

For our solution to work with DSP/SSP, it requires us to develop a certain openRTB extension on the SSP side. Such extension would allow us to send match-required key-value pairs to DSP (for example, IAB Content Taxonomy,Contextual ADS category, keywords, etc.). Transferring key-value pairs data from publishers to, let's say, MediaNet/Prebid is expected to be done through a standard method of API. On the DSP side, this extension enables the activation of a match-required targeting for key-value pairs.

Here’s a brief explanation of two ways that targeting can be achieved: Match-Required Targeting on DSP side through key-value pairs (custom extension). Meaning, a match of key-value pairs is necessary for an ad to appear. This is needed when an ad display takes place in an image/frame with an animated dot connected to the tagged item. Тhus, such match guarantees to everyone involved (publisher, advertiser, etc.) that an ad will be relevant to what the user sees (e.i., an insurance ad will never be displayed on a frying pan). Non Match-Required Targeting through key-value pairs when ads are displayed without a direct attachment to an item. For example, in standard ad slots and/or standard ad formats.

At LensAI, we think this kind of solution should be a long-term goal for any ad exchange or DSP. Strategically, we believe that each DSP or SSP will adapt such an extension; eventually becoming a standard in the contextual space.
